This transportation improvement is with transit also to be used to support the additional housing called for by the Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA, both of which can redevelop communities and create socio-economic benefit for people in the LA Basin and for those that commute to work or visit there.

In the animation you will see that Zero Emission EV Bus Rapid Transit can be made in certain existing narrow boulevards without taking curb lane parking for bus stops and for other vehicular parking that gains access to adjacent land use, shops and services. The animation shows a flowing future rush hour traffic condition some 30 or more years from now where the additional housing in the improved communities have been provided with the additional BRT capacity so there is not congestion which brings forth excessive CO2 emissions and traffic delays. Corridors must be secured now through planning so the future improved communities have the required transportation network that is necessary for their proper function.
